We might be homeschooling alone in our own little corners. That does not mean we have to plan alone. Every single week, we are getting together to do this thing side by side.

So, what is a planning party?
Your favorite new weekly tradition
Picture this. It is your planning day, but instead of staring at a blank planner alone at your kitchen table, you pour your favorite drink, grab a snack, turn on a little music, and hop on with a room full of homeschool moms who get it.
There is a space to share what you are planning the whole time, so just like sitting around the same table, you can talk through your week with the other moms, ask questions, and cheer each other on as you go.
We plan. We laugh. We figure it out together. You log off with your week mapped and your head clear, and somehow it felt more like a girls' night than a to-do list.
That is a Planning Party. And we are doing it every single week.

How the party goes
This is not another webinar you have to sit through. It is a standing weekly date that actually feels good, made to feel as close to being in the same room as we can get.
Set the mood first
Music on, favorite drink poured, snacks within reach. Lots of snacks, because homeschoolers love snacks. I will share a snack and mocktail recipe each week if you want to play along.
Reflect on the week behind us
The wins worth celebrating and the struggles worth saying out loud.
Map out the week ahead
Your anchors, your rhythm, what actually needs to happen.
Get into the real work
Curriculum, prepping, printing, laminating, that unit study you keep meaning to build. We do it together, in good company, sharing what we are working on the whole time.
Celebrate and share out
Before we go, each of us names one thing we are excited about for the coming week, and we send each other off cheering for the plans we just made.

Why it works
Most of us do not fall behind because we do not know how to plan. We fall behind because planning alone is lonely, and lonely is easy to put off.
A Planning Party fixes the part nobody talks about. You get the accountability of a set time, the momentum of doing it with other people, and the comfort of a room that understands what homeschooling is like. You leave with a plan and the feeling that you are not in this by yourself.
